Label Photo to Nutrition Facts

Photograph an existing nutrition label, or upload a spec sheet, recipe or PDF, and turn it into an editable label you can re-format for the US, Canada, the EU, the UK and 110 more markets.

Free account needed. Free accounts get 3 reads a day; paid plans get more.

Step 1
Upload a photo or file

JPG, PNG, WebP or GIF photos, PDF or Word documents, or pasted text: a Nutrition Facts panel, a supplier spec sheet, a recipe or a nutrition table.

Step 2
Check what it found

Every value it reads is listed with a checkbox: nutrients, serving size, servings per container, ingredients, allergens and company details. Untick anything you do not want.

Step 3
Apply and re-format

The values fill the label editor. Switch to any format, for example a US panel photographed off a box re-set as a Canadian bilingual table or an EU declaration, then export.

Good uses, and limits

Relabelling and exporting. Move an existing product to a new market without retyping the panel, or rebuild a label when the original artwork file is lost.

Co-packers and spec sheets. Pull nutrient values from a supplier PDF instead of copying them by hand.

Always check the numbers. The reader transcribes what it sees; it does not verify that the source label was right. A blurred or partial photo can be misread, so compare every value with the source before you print. Re-formatting for another market recalculates rounding and reference values for that market, but the underlying data is only as good as the original.
