Privacy Policy

What we collect, why we collect it, and what we don't do. Last updated April 23, 2026.

The short version

  • Account basics (email, name) to let you sign in.
  • Recipes and labels you create, stored so you can come back to them.
  • Standard analytics (page views, errors) to fix bugs. No cross-site tracking, no ad networks.
  • We never sell your data. We don't train AI models on it.

Data we collect

Account data. Email address, display name, hashed password, plan tier.

Content. The recipes, labels, ingredients, and any files you upload.

Usage. Page views, feature usage, crash reports. We use this to find and fix bugs and prioritize roadmap work. No cross-site tracking; no third-party ad tags.

Third parties we use

We're honest about the infra. We use Supabase for database + auth, Freemius for payments (as Merchant of Record), and USDA FoodData Central for public nutrient data. We send the minimum data each service needs.

Your rights

You can export your data any time via the JSON export feature. You can ask us to delete your account and all associated recipes by emailing support@nutritionfactlabel.com. We will confirm deletion within 30 days.

Cookies

We use a small number of cookies: authentication (to keep you signed in), preferences (theme, language). We do not use tracking cookies or third-party ad cookies.

GDPR / CCPA

If you're in the EU or California, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data. Email support@nutritionfactlabel.com and we will respond within the required timeframes.
