Nutritional labeling for food, pet food and feed
Visit lab websiteListings are free, unpaid and not endorsements. Details were checked on each lab's website on 2026-10-25; confirm accreditation scope and prices with the lab. Run a lab that should be here, or spotted an error? Tell us.
Nutrition values can usually be calculated from the recipe using recognised composition data, or measured by laboratory analysis. Calculation is fast and free and fits most small producers. Analysis is worth paying for when processing changes the food a lot, when a claim must be backed by testing, or when a retailer requires it.
Ask whether the specific tests you need are inside the lab's accreditation scope (ISO/IEC 17025 through a body such as A2LA, UKAS, SCC, NABL, NATA or IANZ), how much sample they need, turnaround time, and whether the report comes as a formatted label for your market or as raw results you format yourself.
A single sample describes one batch. Natural variation in ingredients means values drift, so many producers test more than one batch, or re-test after a recipe or supplier change, before printing labels in volume.
Reference information, not legal advice. Requirements change and turn on facts specific to your product - confirm against the current regulation before relying on it.
This tool is not tied to one country's rules. What you declare on the label is, and the requirements differ.
