The workbench above is an online nutrition facts label generator with a free plan. Start with any of three US FDA layouts and export a clean JPG without an account or card; paid plans unlock additional formats and file types. Enter a product's nutrient values, or build it from a recipe, to render a print-ready label in a format available on your plan. The generator supports the US FDA panel under 21 CFR 101.9 in all fifteen layouts, Supplement Facts under 101.36, and nutrition declarations for 113 other countries (152 formats total), each cited to the regulation it follows.
1. Choose a format. The rail on the left lists every country and format. Pick the market you sell in; the panel re-renders to that jurisdiction's order, units and footnote. 2. Enter values, or a recipe. Type nutrient amounts directly on the Label tab, or switch to the Recipe tab and add ingredients from USDA FoodData Central. From a recipe the generator computes per-serving nutrients, writes the ingredient statement in descending order by weight, and flags allergens automatically.
3. Let the rules run. Serving size follows the reference amount for the food category; every nutrient rounds to its own increment (calories to 5 or 10, fat to 0.5 g, sodium to 5 or 10 mg); %DV is computed from the unrounded value against the current Daily Values. The compliance checker on the right lists anything the rule requires that is still missing.
4. Export. Clean JPG free, PNG on Starter, PDF and SVG on Pro, EPS and AI on Business, all at print resolution. Nothing is watermarked, signed in or not; an account adds saved products.

It is not a laboratory. Nutrient values come from the database you build the recipe from, or from the figures you type; FDA accepts database-derived labels under the compliance rules in 101.9(g), but the accuracy of the inputs is yours. It is not legal advice: each format page cites its regulation so you can read the source, and the free label requirement checklist covers the elements outside the panel (ingredient statement, allergens, net quantity, name and place of business). And it is not a design tool: it produces the panel; your packaging artwork goes around it.

Is the generator free? Yes. The free plan includes three US FDA layouts, three saved products and clean JPG export. You can also start and export without an account or credit card; paid plans unlock additional formats and file types.
Do I need an account? No. You can build and export a label signed out, with no watermark. An account saves your products so you can come back and edit them.
Is the label FDA compliant? The layout, order, type sizes, rounding and Daily Values follow 21 CFR 101.9. Compliance of the finished label also depends on your values and on the rest of the package, which the checklist covers.
Can I make a label for Canada, the EU, Mexico or Australia? Yes: switch the format. The same recipe re-renders to the Canada Nutrition Facts table, the EU 1169/2011 declaration, Mexico NOM-051 with warning seals, or the Australian NIP.
